Installing the exchange4linux-all source distribution on Linux
As an example we'll walk you through the building and installation of the exchange4linux-all source distribution onto a Linux server. The exchange4linux-all source distribution includes all the sources of the subsystems that you will require to run exchange4linux on you own Linux system. All code in the distribution is Open Source. This is the recommended way to get exchange4linux running on your own Linux system. The example is run on a Debian Linux system, but it has been tested on other distributions, too, like Redhat and Suse.
