Documentation Area 2.4.x and 2.5.x
Welcome to the exchange4linux Documentation Area.

This is the central location for documentation about installing and working with exchange4linux. The currently recommended way to install exchange4linux is to use the exchange4linux-all source distribution which includes all subsystem components necessary to run exchange4linux, and are installed in a unique folder so that they don't conflict with existing versions. This includes Python2.1, PostgreSQL, omniORB(py) and should run on most Linux and posix systems.

As an archive reference document we still feature the older step by step instruction how to install a BILL workgroup server from scratch using Debian Linux (woody). These are out of date for the 2.3.x and earlier versions. You can find the old documentation pages here.

Please follow the links below.

Outlook Connector
When you install the exchange4linux Outlook connector with Outlook 2000 or XP, please look at the Quick Installation Guide Outlook 2000 and XP.

If you had installed an older version of bill or exchange4linux, please read the HOWTO for mapisvc.inf.
